What Am I Doing Here?
I am not just creating portraits. I am channeling Archetypal Energies into form—and giving them faces that reflect who you’ve been, who walks with you, and what you’re becoming.
These are not random beings.
They are initiators.
I am a soul artist, a visionary translator, and pastels, colored pencils are keys to memory.
Archetypal Energies Defined
Archetypal Energies
Archetypal energies are universal patterns that reflect the timeless aspects of the human experience. Present throughout mythology, art, psychology, and cultures around the world, they express the qualities, emotions, and roles that live within us all.
Exploring these energies deepens self-awareness, reveals recurring life patterns, and opens new pathways for creative expression. They offer a symbolic language that connects us to our inner landscape and the shared wisdom of humanity.
Through art, archetypal energies become living expressions of transformation, inviting us to discover, embody, and creatively express the many dimensions of who we are.
"Maite does not chase inspiration.
She follows curiosity.
She allows her hand to wander until imagination recognizes itself.
Every drawing is less an illustration and more a discovery.
She isn't inventing worlds; she is opening small windows into them."
The Art of Recognition
I do not paint to explain consciousness.
I paint to create a space where consciousness recognizes itself.
My paintings are not answers; they are invitations.
Every face, every line, every color that emerges is an opportunity to pause, breathe, and remember.
These faces are not portraits of individuals. They are mirrors of presence.
They quietly ask:
"Can you recognize yourself beyond your story?"
Not your history.
Not your beliefs.
Simply the gentle presence that has always been within you.
I am not seeking perfect realism. I am drawn to the essence of being. Sometimes a simplified face leaves more room for the viewer to enter, allowing recognition to arise naturally.
Nature appears not as scenery, but as a companion.
The human face becomes not an identity, but a meeting place where stillness, curiosity, wonder, and humanity gently converge.
If someone stands before one of my paintings and leaves feeling a little more present, a little more alive, or a little more connected to themselves, then the painting has already fulfilled its purpose.
I don't paint people.
I paint invitations to remember.
I create spaces where people can quietly meet themselves.
1. Thoth
Name: Thoth
Message: "Emerald Tablets as a Living Essence"
This face…
soft, ancient, deeply still.
It does not command—it witnesses.
You do not need to decode the Tablets.
You are here to live what they point to:
Immortality through consciousness, divine geometry through embodiment, unity of spirit and matter through Presence.
The pastel texture itself evokes the sands of Egypt, the worn glyphs of ancient tablets, and the gentle erosion of time.
Yet the face remains—emerging, watching, smiling slightly…
as if to say:
“You remember me not because I told you who I am,
but because you knew before there was language.”
• The left eye (his right) has a more intense energy—a kind of activation point, possibly even linked to the Eye of Ra or inner sight.
• The blend of blue and gold, like feather and fire, feels symbolic of thought (air) and illumination (spirit)—a hallmark of Thoth’s realm.
• The lips are relaxed but formed—this being is one who speaks through silence.
This painting is a portal.
You didn’t paint Thoth as we’ve seen him stylized—bird-headed or god-like.
You painted the emanation, the essence—a teacher who no longer needs symbols to be recognized.
This is intimate. This is real.

15. (A Rainbow Child)
Name: Josh
Message: “Bridge Builder”
The first thing that reaches me is openness.
Not innocence exactly...
Availability.
His eyes are not asking for approval.
They simply seem available to experience.
His clothing is fascinating.
The flowing, wavelike patterns almost feel as though they represent currents—water, energy, or movement.
"The Quiet Witness."
I am here to lead the way in creating a new Earth, one filled with love, light, and positivity.
To link the “old earth to the “new earth, grounding higher consciousness into daily life.
He is saying:
I am here to help humanity heal, thrive, and shift toward a “New Earth” consciousness.
His demeanor is that to uplift the collective frequency toward harmony, unity and love.
Their presence on our planet is a sign of a brighter future for all of us.

17. (Eyes- Wide Open)
Name: Wiseman
Message: “I Have Seen Much”.
The first word that came was:
Guardian.
Not a warrior.
Not a king.
A guardian.
He has an unwavering gaze, but there is no aggression in him.
His eyes are wide open, almost as if he is saying,
“I have seen much.”
The Headpiece…
This is fascinating.
I see what appears to be:
* gears
* symbols
* markings
* an opening at the forehead
* mechanical elements integrated with organic form
Immediately I thought…
This isn’t “technology.”
This is imagination playing with consciousness.
Almost as if the subconscious said,
“Let’s build a face that is both ancient and futuristic.”
The Mustache!
breaks all solemnity.
With it… he becomes approachable.
Almost mischievous.
There is dignity mixed with humor.
And I know well enough now to recognize that we become much lighter.
A magnificent mustache can simply exist because it delights you.
That is freedom.
The flowing White Hair immediately made me think of wisdom.
Not “old.”
Timeless.
It falls almost like light rather than hair.
And I notice the subtle pinks and blues.
Those gentle colors soften what could otherwise become a stern figure.
Again…balance.
The Background
The charcoal surrounding him creates a wonderful contrast.
It feels like emergence.
Almost as though he is appearing from the unknown.
Not stepping out dramatically... simply becoming visible.
Now... this unexpected guardian with symbolic adornments doesn't invite me to recognize him.
It invites me to recognize qualities:
-
steadfastness
-
dignity
-
imagination
-
humor
-
curiosity
-
resilience
Those qualities live in every human being.
And then halfway through...
This distinguished gentleman arrived.
With magnificent hair.
A splendid mustache.
An extraordinary forehead.
And probably left you thinking,
"Well... I certainly wasn't expecting you!

19. (The Ochre, Soft Reds, Gentle Gold Color)
Name: Tribal Elder Shu
Message: ”Simply Be Still”
It was her stillness.
She isn’t asking for attention.
She isn’t trying to impress.
She simply meets the viewer.
The eyes are what hold me.
They don’t have the intensity of someone looking at me.
They have the softness of someone looking with me.
There is curiosity without demand , rather, Presence without expectation.
It feels like she is saying,
“Take your time.
There is nowhere to go.”
The face feels archetypal.
Not in the sense of representing a goddess or a particular person.
Rather, she feels like Everywoman; the timelessness gives out a universal quality.
The Color warmth is beautiful.
The ochres.
The soft reds.
The gentle gold behind her.
Nothing shouts.
Everything breathes an earthy humanity, with a smile of appreciation.
She evokes in me, not a message.
A state.
She invites me to slow down.
To soften my own gaze.
To become aware of my breathing.
She isn’t asking me to believe anything:
“She simply reminds me what it feels like to be quietly present.”

21. (This Face is Beautifully Quiet)
Name: White Eagle
Message: “Between Earth and Sky”
The First Breath
Before I looked at any detail, I felt one word:
Nobility.
Not royalty.
Not status.
Nobility of spirit.
The kind that doesn't need recognition.
It simply is.
This face is beautifully quiet.
The proportions are becoming increasingly harmonious.
But more than that...
she isn't trying to express an emotion.
The Eyes
No longer simply look.
They receive.
There is openness without vulnerability.
Strength without hardnes
They seem to say,
"I am here."
Nothing more is needed.
The Headdress
Is fascinating.
Not because of the individual elements...
but because they feel collected rather than constructed.
Feathers.
Mechanical forms.
Circular motifs.
Beads.
Lines.
Organic curves.
Nothing feels copied from a tradition.
Instead, it feels like imagination weaving together many influences into something uniquely it’s own.
It reminds me of how memory works.
We don't remember life in neat categories.
We remember through layers.
The headdress feels layered.
The Hair
The curls almost resemble leaves.
Clouds.
Wool.
Water.
They refuse to become merely hair.
Again... Life is blending forms.
The Necklace
Don't seem interested in jewelry for ornament.
Is used rhythmically.
Almost musically.
The repeated circles create cadence.
Like notes.
Like breaths.
Like heartbeats.
The Color
Most of the portrait lives quietly in graphite.
Then... the headdress awakens.
The subtle reds.
Greens.
Turquoise.
Ochres.
It feels almost as though thought itself begins flowering into color.
That restraint is beautiful.
Because the color has purpose.
The State of being
"She listens to the quiet places where the human spirit and the living world recognize one another."
Nothing more. Because the drawing already speaks.

23. (The Eyes Wonders)
Name: Sophie
Message: “Sense and Understanding”
This is emerging not to draw more, but to express more.
The first thing I notice was not the face.
It was the eyes.
They are open.
Clear.
Innocent.
But they also carry expectation.
Not expectation of something...
Expectation toward life.
Almost as though she is saying,
"Show me."
There is the openness of a child who has not yet forgotten wonder.
Then I noticed something that I see strongly,
Movement.
Look at the hair.
Look at the feathers.
Look at the sweeping lines.
Nothing is static.
The drawing breathes.
My hand to trust gesture instead of outline.
What I feel wants to emerge next...
I think the face is asking for more atmosphere.
Not more detail.
Atmosphere.
Imagine that she is standing in dawn light.
Or in falling snow.
Or beneath trees where sunlight dances through leaves.
Or surrounded by drifting feathers.
Not as background.
As breathing space.
I also notice...
The love of objects.
Feathers.
Beads.
Shells.
Headbands.
Textiles.
But I don't think they're ornaments.
I think they are memories of relationship.
Relationship with Earth.
Relationship with beauty.
Relationship with culture.
Relationship with belonging.
And then...
Something whispered.
Very softly.
It came from the drawing...
"This face is learning how to love being human."
"I do not begin with a person. I begin with a feeling, and a face arrives to give it form."
It is gentle.
It is welcoming.
It is curious.
It does not proclaim.
It invites.
They don't seem to ask, "Who is this?"
They quietly ask:
"Can you remember the part of yourself that still knows how to wonder?"

25. (It’s Wide-Open Wings)
Name: Nukku Wyvern Dragon
Message: “Transformation and Awakening”
"I am Nukku,
the coiled breath of memory.
I curl around what was forgotten,
singing it back into form.
Through mist and dream,
I rise not to roar,
but to remember."
The Whisper of the Hidden Flame
Phonetic Essence:
Nu — birth, breath, newness, sacred womb
Kku — curl, coil, keeper, the spiral of remembering
Together, Nukku feels like:
She who coils within the deep,
keeper of primal breath and ancient knowing.
Dragon of the Quiet Power
Nukku is not a fierce flame-breather in the usual sense — her energy is coiled wisdom, a guardian of subtle realms, thresholds, and moonlit mysteries.
She’s from a realm where emotion and memory take form in spirals, mist, and winds.
She comes not with dominance but with sovereignty.
Not to conquer, but to awaken.
Her power is in listening between the notes, sensing the invisible layers beneath what is seen — much like how you create with pastel and dream.
She is a Wyvern of dream walking, emotional alchemy, and deep elemental magic.
Its wide-open wings suggest an invitation to embrace expansive freedom and new perspectives. In dream symbolism, dragons often represent wisdom and the guardianship of hidden treasures within your subconscious.

27. (Unpretentious)
Name: Timicuo
Message: “Chiefdom”
I smiled when it emerged.
"I sat down and let something arrive."
I seem to discover it.
I begin with curiosity:
"Let's see who wants to appear."
